No es tan fácil....

so, da bin ich nun. Zaragoza!
Seit ich am Donnerstag angekommen bin, hab ich ca. 25 Anrufe getätigt - bisher ohne Erfolg. Hab aber noch ein paar Nummern, die ich anrufen kann. Also auf ein Neues. Wohnungssuche ist gar nicht so einfach...

Ansonsten gefällt mir Zaragoza echt gut. Die Leute sind unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit, niemand geht vor 3 Uhr morgens ins Bett und niemand steht vor 11 Uhr auf. Genau meine Welt ;) Die meisten Geschäfte öffnen auch erst zwischen 10 und 11 Uhr. Achja, und zwischen 14 und 16 Uhr ist Siesta. :D

Also ich mach mich dann mal wieder auf den Weg und durchforste ein paar Zeitungen nach Zimmerangeboten.

Life in Costa Rica

I lived with a host family so I had the chance to experience family life in Costa Rica.
Generally can be said that families are much closer than in Europe. Children
usually live with their parents until they get married and it is not uncommon for a
family to have three or more children.

Sustainable Tourism in Costa Rica

Costa Rica is known throughout the world for supporting sustainable tourism. After
having lived in this country for 6 months, I have developed a rather critical view on
this topic. Costa Rica is very small and has only about 4 million inhabitant. In the
year 2004 total tourist arrivals by air exceeded the 1 million mark1 and more visitors
are estimated for 2005. Sustainable tourism and high tourist numbers are
unfortunately two issues that do not really go together and not everything is rosy.
